Harrods Creek Watershed Planning Project Kickoff

Kentucky Waterways Alliance is  excited to announce the launch of the Harrods Creek Watershed Planning Project and are trying to get the word out to the community!  If you could please circulate this email to anyone with interest in local environmental issues.  We are ready to get started, but we will need community involvement to make the project successful. We will be hosting a Kickoff Meeting to begin the process of improving water quality and habitat in the watershed.  The evening will feature speakers on Harrods Creek and Watershed Planning. There will also be a discussion about opportunities and priorities for our creek. Community members will have the opportunity to provide feedback and shape the planning process. The meeting will also provide refreshments, informational displays, and ways to get involved.  This is your community, your watershed, and your plan! Joining the watershed team is an informal commitment to working on the project as a whole. You will determine your own level of involvement. Big or small ? community involvement is needed from citizens, organizations, businesses, and governments to make this project a success!
