CRESTWOOD, KY – Apple Patch Community, Inc., will host its 2018 Golf Tournament on Monday, May 14th at Woodhaven Country Club, 7200 Woodhaven Road, Louisville, KY 40291. Registration and lunch are at 11:30am, followed by a shotgun start at 1pm. All proceeds will help fund Apple Patch’s programs and services to help people with disabilities live meaningful lives. Exciting prizes are up for grabs at the tournament. A weeklong condo stay in Sanibel Island, FL, will be raffled at the event. Other prizes include golf equipment and accessories, restaurant gift certificates, and more. A new car will be awarded to the first player who achieves a hole-in-one, courtesy of Champion Chevrolet-Buick-GMC of LaGrange, Ky. A highlight of the annual golf outing is the participation of the “Apple Patch Putters,” a few adults with disabilities (assisted by staff) who putt alongside golfers at certain holes on the course. The 2018 Apple Patch Golf Tournament is presented by Sterling Thompson Company insurance services, along with support from ADP, Commonwealth Bank & Trust Co., Marcum Construction, Mel Owen Music, New Age Technologies, the Grisanti Group commercial real estate services, and retired Louisville businessman Frank Otte. The golf event honors the legacy of Otte’s son, David, who was a resident and beloved member of the Apple Patch family.
